Hey sisters,

Just wondering if any of you are from NYC...i thought there were a couple from the area on here....

I'm going to New York for march break and have no plans really. my friend wants to see museums and art galleries, which i'm ok with but I wouldn't mind doing some other stuff too.

ANy suggestions or ideas?

Go see RENT, my "boyfriend" (aka fav actor) will be Mark again on Dec 23rd

Also, go see one of his gigs, hes a fantastic singer/songwriter... his name is Matt Caplan

Also visit Hunter and Lehman. Although they dont really have anything on Phi Sigma Sigma its still fun!

*Lehman is the college that was created in 69 when Hunter split. The A chapter split as well, making A and Hunter and AA at Lehman!

I was there this summer and I took a bus tour on one of the double decker buses and I had a GREAT TIME... they take you to everything touristy and you can get off and check stuff out and get back on. I also suggest just hanging out in Central Park for a while... GREAT FUN and a tour of NBC studios or Radio City music hall is fun.... Humm... also shopping SOHO is really good too.... I'm giving you all touristy stuff to do... maybe someone from there has some good suggestions of stuff to do that not EVERYONE does when they go.

When is your break??? I'm In NY Reppin Brooklyn to the FULLEST!!! I'm in Long Island now. So let me know and we'll meet up with some sisters in my chapter.LITP

My break is in March..we're leaving Montreal the 3rd, so we'll prolly get in that night sometime...and we're leaving NY the 7th.

It would be great to meet more sisters!!!

too bad none of the nyc chapters have a house. . .i would definitely come visit. .. i want to board up there too. . .

hey White_Chocolate,HEHE, I'm on campus... It's not that bad. We kind of have a house but we don't I'ts a legal thing. PM me for more details. I know a lot of sisiters on campus that would be more than happy tp house some out of state sisiters.(we'll chat)

And Moosegirl, You let me know when you get here. PM me for my number. I wanna come out to Canada for a bit sometime in the year. I know my break is maybe the week before or after, so mabye I'll come up and we can come out to NY together or vice-versa..

Just lettin y'all know i'll be in NYC this Sat (mar 1) night for a week(til bout mar 8)...my friend and i are staying in a couple hostels and plan on hitting just about all the museums you'd want to see in a lifetime :P ...

If any of you will be in the area just PM me and maybe we'll hook up....

I live about 5 minutes outside of NYC. Although I love the museums and such, there is so much to do there! Chelsea Piers is great... You can do just about anything you want. Let me know if there's anything specific you want to know about!
