Ok.... I'm not sure this is funny so much as pathetic... But it's been bugging me for a long time, and I wanted to post it.
During rush week, it's traditional for the five sororities on campus to exchange goody baskets and wish one another good luck. Well, this year, we got a basket from the house next door that was very interesting. (We are the Pi Phi's). The card on the candy basket said
BQP. Well, we figured maybe they were sending candy to the IFC groups too this year and were like "Oh, they got it confused, too bad they beat us on the IFC idea", because we have a Beta chapter on campus, too. Sooooo...........
We opened up the card and the message said "To the sisters of
BQP, we wish you a wonderful rush". We were like.... WTF???? How stupid are these girls. Well our Prez contacted their Prez and she cleared it up with their PR chair who turns out to be my year. This girl definately went through formal rush and somehow has no clue what the chapter NEXT DOOR is called. Plus the fact that this chapter hangs out at Beta a LOT and should know. This PR chair girl is definately not my favorite, widely acknowledge to be fairly evil... and now stupid, too!
The sad thing is, is that this chapter is the same chapter that I posted about a few months ago that didn't know their own ritual. And just recently was the first NPC group on campus to ever receive an alcohol strike.
So I guess it's not so much funny as sad.
