I like where DirtyMike was going, so I want to ask another question. If you knew you will be dead in a few days, what and who would you leave your precious possessions? Do you have a will?

I have a huge book collection, mostly African American authers, over 300 books easily. My parents or guy wouldn't appreciate it, so I would divide them into half. Giving my aunt half and a close girlfriend the other half, they love to read as I do.
-My 4 closets of clothes would go to a my mom and a plus size girlfriend of mine, rest to a shelter.
-all my 'nalia I'll want to be givin to the newest members to enter my chapter(neo's)!
Cd collection(over 1000) will go to best friend, he loves music.
-jewelry, money, savings, 401K, all that stuff goes to parents.

I don't have one, YET. I was thinking about this this past Sunday. I saw a copy of my aunt's will that was sent to my mother by her lawyers. So, yes, I will have a will. All she had was a plain sheet of paper with her specifics for everything. It was witnessed by two non-family members. That was it, plain and simple. Nothing fancy, shamncy.

Anthing left in my estate (yea right)will go to my Godson and my favorite niece. This includes, money, property and other assets.

I don't have a will yet (seeing that I'm only 24 and feel that I have some time left on this planet), but I'm glad that you brought this up, Chi_ZETABBW. I don't have that many valuable possessions, but the possessions that I hold dear to me are my high school diploma, my stuffed animal collection, my two black porcelain dolls, my photo album with most of my family members, and my Roy Wilkins Youth Leadership Award that I received two years ago from the NAACP. I would let my niece and goddaughters split the stuffed animals amongst themselves when they get older, I would let my male best friend, 9476, have my high school diploma and Roy Wilkins Youth Leadership Award, I would let my female best friend, 8576, have my photo album, and I would give my CD collection to my cousins. That's all I can think of for now. Chi_ZETABBW, let me know what you think of this.
