Lock Haven University LXA Brothers
Does Lock Haven University still have a LXA Chapter there.
Would love to hear from my brothers and discuss the current situation there.

Lambda Gamma Zeta
The answer is that there hasnt been an active chapter since summer of 2000 at LHU. The house has been condemned, and boarded up and is bein sold by LCAP to cover the 20k + debts they owe to back taxes, back dues, a 2 grand trash bill etc.
The house corporation and High Pi are (were) run by a bunch of idiot alumni bropthers that couldnt seem to do anything, and constantly fought with a non too swift, but weel meaning undergrad chapter.
There was also a huge fist fight with the chapter with some ousted undergrads at the house where there were major problems in Feb 2000 (people expelled from college etc.)
My self and the Phi Tau High Pi stepped in as local alumni to convince the LHU bropthers no to go undergound/rogue like the LCA brothers at Iota Eta Zeta Susquehanna U. , and they havent- right now there are like 12 brothers left who will be gone in like 3 semesters- I used to check in on them, but have no idea where any of them are left now on campus to talk to.
every several months I call nationals to remind them that Andy Longo promised to give full consideration to them to get recharted for obeying the rules (and actually mailing in their charter)- Also I had a meeting with thegreek advisor to set the record straight since their alumni werent capable of doing it.
The chapter's posessions are with Ed Chatterton- a local alumni
and the LHU brothers have a yahoo group they email on- which is basically a bunch of shit- all they do is talk smack on one another all day- I cut off the emaisl from it it was so annoying- they lack any kind of real alumni structure at this point. All they do is blame others or refuse to address the chapter's situation.
However- LCA will be back at LHU one of these days If I can help it! ( as i live 25 miles away !!)
email me if you want to call me for more details!

Tom- I have no idea what is going on anywhere outside of my small area- last I heard there was a keg incident at the gettysburg house and all the brothers are nerds..........
So my undergrads tell me, who knows if it even true though.
We have so much going on at Shippensburg that I can barely keep track of that, and most of that I'm not going to post on here!
Keep it Real!

Tom, what school in Denver? Regis? Metro? Mines? Several years ago, there was an interest group at Mines, but nothing ever came of it, or they became a different fraternity (I believe they folded, for I haven't seen/heard about new orgs on that campus - too bad, it's THREE BLOCKS from the Coor's brewery!)
Northern Colorado's colony is doing VERY well...they are going to perform their own ritual this weekend (4/19) - the first time they are running it. Very stressful, but it should come off great. I'm helping them prepare at 10:30 every night (yawn! I'm getting too old for all-nighters)...it is tiring, but fun of course...

I'm an LHU greek myself, and have seen the old LCA house. The Clinton County Historical Society tried to buy the house, but were rebuffed. The new owner has let the house go downhill in the past few years. But, they did lose their charter when I was a freshman. Also, the LCA chapter will not get their charter back until the last member graduates who was involved in the incident in 2000.

Jason-
I forgot to tell you that Dr. Chatterton is still here at LHU teaching Economics. I didn't know that he was a brother of LCA. But, I still think that you guys make great brothers.

Doc Chatterton
DC was the advisor for many years until he didnt have time for it, he currently has all the LGZ composites, paddles and memorabilia.
To sum it up he has been very upset and dissappointed with the last several years at the fraternity, However Im sure he will be c alled upon soon in the next few years as Larry and his team make more strides to get back on campus.
Those details are to remain confidential until the LGZ alumni assn decides to go all out in public with them, so until then my lips are sealed!
