Needing to Vent for a Moment-Naples,FL is my Home

Hey there.
I have never posted on GreekChat, but I am a new member of the Sigma Delta Tau Gamma Eta chapter at the University of South Florida. I just woke up to the news of the three men being detained in Naples in lieu of possible terrorist threats. The minute I heard this news, I knew that these men must have been going to Miami-which I believe was just confirmed on the radio I'm listening to. However, I am just upset because this is too close to home for me. I can't talk to my mother until the afternoon because I have no way to contact her. All I can do is leave a message on her answering machine at our home telling her to call. These men are in my city right now and they probably were escorted to their holding tank on roads I have driven through many times.
I am not sure why I'm posting this, but I need to do something in the mean time. I just won't feel better until I hear from my mother later today.
