Guy advice..Please help!!!

Ok so I could use some help. This is kind of a long story so I will try to make it short. There is this guy I know that I met about a year ago that I have a crush on. When we first met we were both attracted to each other and ended up hooking up one night (No sex though!) and I took him to our formal. The timing was bad though because he had just ended a long term relationship and stuff like that so we never dated (but he knew that I liked him and I knew he thought I was hot, etc). So, unfortunately I still like him and I don't know what to do. We are friends now and see each other on a regular basis for Greek Life stuff. Sometimes I get a good vibe from him but other times I can't tell at all what he is thinking. For example, sometimes it seems kind of awkward and like neither of us knows what to say to each other and other times the conversation is fine. It might be because we made out once last year. I'm so confused. Should I just forget it? Just wondering people's opinions. Do you think it ever has a chance? Could I ever take him to another function etc? Should I let on again that I still like him? If there is potential I dont want to throw it away forever. Thanks!
