Hated word

What is the 1 word you hate the most?

It will have to be the "N" word. I truly hate hearing it, by anyone. I hate it in Rap songs or when people use it describing a pal, such as "My N*****". I just hate it, and wish anytime someone used it, they would have to donate a dollar to charity.

Words...

I would say that when I was younger, I hated hearing the word B*t*h and N*****, but now, the words don't bother me. I grew up in an all African American community and when I was about 13, we moved to a basically all white community. Needless to say, white folks would say N** this and Black B**** that, and it would bother me. But I realized, if you let a word control how you feel, people will always use it. IMHO, White folks wouldn't bother say the "N" word or for that matter, flying that Confederate flag if they knew African Americans could care less. Even if a man calls me a B***, so what? His opinion isn't going to upset me....the way I see it, anyone who uses a word to try to stimulate a negative reaction in someone is the ignorant one!

Ok, I know anyone who's reading this is saying,........that was not the question..............but I have always wanted to share how I felt about that!

I have 3...well really more than that...

I hate the "N" word also. Since you all stated it already, I won't go into detail about my dislike.

Conversate Hello, it's not a word people no matter how many times you attempt to use it, it's still wrong.

Boo I can't stand it. To call a woman boo in order to seek attention is so low class to me (along with calling me "mami, shawty, etc.")

First, hello & love to all my Royal Blue sistahs!

...now to answer the question.... it's not a word but a phrase. A phrase that reflects an ignorant mentality:

"Good Hair"

My skin literally crawls when anyone says it! ESPECIALLY in our community. Healthy Hair is Good Hair. Let the slave mentality go. Just let it go!

Sisterly,

Aurora6

I must say that I hate the N***** word. It irritates me when African-American people use it towards each other but it pisses me off when they use it in the company of caucasians.

I HATE when people use the word "shady". For example:
"You didn't speak to me today, I think that is shady".

AAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I hate the other "c" word.

So do I Soror,

I work with SED kids who on any given day will call me a itch, N itch, however, when I am called the "C" word I have to go in my office and give myself therapy

If somebody doesn't like something, why can't they say "I don't like X thing or X person" rather than it "sucks" or "blows?" Both words create crude images in my mind.

I just thought of another -- I have developed the very bad habit of calling people who annoy me "dude". When I'm driving and someone in front of me does something silly, I say aloud, "Dude, why'd you pull up if you knew you wouldn't make the light?" or "Dude, if you want to blaze down the highway, get in the fast lane!" I think I got it from the combination of watching early seasons of South Park and my old supervisor.

LMAO BabyBlue, I do the same thing (South Park). The other day I said to someone: "Dude, what does that mean?" and I thought, what the heck am I saying.
