As a PG, you should have a sponsor and big brother chapter. They should be able to give you assistance. You can also call upon your Section Chair. Your section might have a section staff that could assist you.
Also download the MVP and Survival Guide for Small Chapters guide from the National website. Should give you info.
I can only give you some ideas that my chapter does.
We run a weeklong Rush. We do it after Greek Rush. We start with an Info Night the first night, then follow up with fun events each subsequent nights. We try to pick events that are fun and allow for interation between the rushees and the members. So doing a movie wouldn't be good because there is little interaction, whereas going bowling is better cause everyone else can chat while one or two are bowling at a time.
We then rap up with a service project on Saturday early, usually followed by a picnic/cookout in the afternoon. Then usually have our ceremony that weekend for those who are pledging and go from there.
Some chapters do a longer Rush (1 & 1/2 or 2 week rush). Be sure to get fliers out atleast a week in advance with your full schedule. Do info tables the week or two before so people can meet you and you can pass out fliers/schedules.
Also try larger posters in strategic areas, maybe door knob hangers in the dorms (apo brochure & rush schedule).
Hope this helps. Good luck!
