Won't the sleepwalkers and night terrorist please stand up?

I wanna hear some stories!

Last week I fell asleep in algrebra class, and I guess I had a nightmare. Because I woke up growling, screaming, and I punched the girl sitting in front of me.

Not me, but still hilarious...
I was staying at my boyfriends and got up to go to the washroom. When I came back, I guess I woke him up a bit, becuase he sat up straight and said "did you know you could make a time machine with a dishwasher and a spatula?" then laid right back down. I asked him about it, and all I got was incoherent mumbles. He didn't remember it or any dream he might of had that would make him say that when I questioned him in the morning....

I was staying overnight with a friend and in the middle of the night, I was about half awake. My friend sat bolt upright in bed and said, in her best stage voice, "But it's the only red vegetable there is!!" I said "WHAT??" and she repeated it and then flung herself back down on the bed. I was awake the rest of the night trying to think of red vegetables.

In the morning, she had no recollection of saying that or any idea what in the world it meant.

I remember a time last year a bunch of us crashed in one girls room and I kept talking about cranberries all night in my sleep, they couldn't get me to shut up! They tape recorded a little bit of it, that was pretty embarassing.

My first roommate, first semester of freshman year talked in her sleep EVERY NIGHT. She just yapped all night long, like had conversations with herself. I got used to it, but it would freak some of my friends out if they ever happened to be over when Krista was asleep. Haha.

My father told me of one time when I was younger he was coming into my room to wake me up and I started swatting at his face mumbling about a bunch of flies....

My mom told me about another time I apparently had a dream about making shrinky-dinks, and I wasn't sure if they were ready to be put in the oven or something so I got up to ask my mom if I should "cook them." I walked to her bedroom door and I screamed: "MOM! Should I, Should I....Should I...I don't think they're ready yet...but Should I...Should I..."

And she says, "What Sarah? What are you talking about?"

And I got all exasperated and screamed "Fine, whatever, nevermind. You neve liked making Shrinky-Dinks with me anyway. I don't see why you'd care NOW." Then I went back to bed. She got up to ask me what the hell was the matter but I was fast asleep. I was amused

One time in hs I was staying at my best friends house. She fell asleep and a bunch of us were still up. Now Tara frequently talks in her sleep but this was my first experience with it, she sat straight up in bed, looked at me and said "Emily, please wipe the blood off the table." I would love to know what she had been dreaming about.

Once, when I was younger (like 7 or 8 years old) I slept walked from my bedroom in the basement to my parent's bedroom upstairs. I guess I proceeded to take off my clothes and put my robe back on and then go back to my bedroom.
All I remember is hearing the sound of the bathtub running in the middle of the night (my brother was sick or something) and I realized that I was naked under the robe. I freaked out, thinking someone had stolen my clothes...and ran upstairs. I started crying to my mom about my nakedness under my robe and she said that I had come into her room and stripped and went back to bed (so she saw the whole thing but didn't wake me). I was more embarassed than anything!

All right, first semester in college, my dorm roommate was from Nigeria. One night, after a long study, I got back to my room just to find him already went to bed. So silently and in the dark, I was changing.
Suddenly, he sat right up on his bed, pointing at me, then with a rasp voice, he started speaking in Nigerian about something. I was freaked out, and I thought he cursed me or tried to transform me into a dung bat. Then he laid back to sleep again.
When I asked him the next morning, he had no idea what I was talking about.

Maybe one reason I moved out the dorm right off my first semester

I can hear in my sleep, so I will wake up and people would have been talking, and I will be like "I had this dream where Nicole was talking about how she only had bottom braces..." and they will be like "Whoa, we just said that."

I have this little 1/2 sleeping 1/2 awake things where I see and think stuff by my eyes are open... really crazy, in my math lecture, I was sitting there listening and watching the professor, and my mind was all like thinking that my mom picked him my my car, and we went to the union and some weird stuff...

I also will talk in my sleep, and once I even thought of a Delta Zeta version of American Pie when I feel asleep at work (standing up! mind you), and since the radio was playing, I dreamed words to it, but I cannot remember them anymore.

Our house could get pretty noisy at night. ALL of us talk in our sleep. I usually have the "night terrors" and wake up screaming or yelling. Plus, I also sleep wth my eyes open at times. My son either "debates" or laughs, my daughter has her to-do list and Hubby recants the days activities. You can actually draw the kids into conversation, but with Hubby, it's too funny to do anything but listen.

My ASA sister Sarah was a big sleepwalker and talker. The high point was when her roommate's fish jumped out of its bowl and Sarah stepped on it while sleepwalking. She woke up the next morning and said "hey, I stepped on an ice cube" and then we informed her of her murderous actions. She got called fish killer for the rest of the semester.
