Spam?

I thought that people couldn't post the junk stuff like "Earn money for blahblahblah..." on here. Just wondering because I would hate to see this site taken over like several other sites I used to post on.

You are correct, posting of SPAM is not permitted in the forums at greekchat.com The recent messages you are probably referring to have been archived in our "spam depot" archive area and the company operating the biz op (AllAdvantage) has been contacted about this violation of their anti-spam policy by one of their members/affiliates. I did not report the incident to their ISP but will do so if this individual posts more SPAM to these forums.

I guarantee that greekchat.com will not fall prey to the evils of SPAM like many other discussion systems have as you described.

Occasionally some SPAM messages may slip by. If you find a SPAM related message posted in these forums which is more than a few days old, please email webteam@greekchat.com with the url to report it.
