My last college roommate had clear lights that blinked out a pattern. When the other lights in the room were off, it was gorgeous!

Blinking, small white lights! My husband likes the big, old fashion colorful lights. YUCK!! We got some the first year we were married, when I was all in love and stuff (LOL just kidding! He's still the love of my love)

I have to say whatever light you might chose please don;t over do it. I am from Cleveland and the people here seem to think that you have to string light on everything in your front yard and back, I mean come on now and the lights don't even match!

HATE COLOR LIGHTS

I absolutely hate color lights although red would be of choice if I had to use. But on the norm CLEAR non-blinking lights, blinking acceptable. But has to be CLEAR. For that matter I hate a lot of colors period. When I decorate I put at least 6 trees but as many as 13 in my home. And ALL ornaments must be either white, gold and silver on every tree. But I do make a small exception with the guest bathroom. I mean some are still into COLORS
