With everything thats going on with you all "outing" people on the internet. I think several people need to remember that sometimes LONG TERM members lurk and/or go away for a while and come back. I went onto the chat room a couple weeks ago and was rudely talked to by some of your valued GC'ers. Ignorance is not bliss. It's not ok because you haven't seen someone around to assume they are an imposter, and be blatently rude to them. I've been around since September of 2000, I'm saying that makes any more or less valuable, but it means you can check my profile before you start swearing at me and calling me an imposter. Thanks.

It seems to be a cyclical thing around here... Unfortunately once we catch (or think we have caught) a person it casts a suspicious light on everyone. I did a search for your posts and you sounded intelligent and well-spoken. I honestly can't understand why someone would think that.

Oh..... CC1GC=LilG. You seemed like you knew people around here pretty well but I couldn't figure out who you were. That makes much more sense now. I've had a couple of user names too, and not because I'm trying to hide but because I lose hotmail messages all the time.

USFStudent, I'm so sorry you were treated badly. You unfortunately have something in common with the most hated man alive right now which put you in the wrong corner, not that it's any excuse. People need to think before they accuse.

This is so true. Once someone annoying, trash-talking, or slightly shady comes around, y'all automatically assume that it is another poster who has reincarnated himself or herself.

Sadly, it's typically just two people who happen to be equally reprehensible...

Sounds like the process it took to get my job....but it keeps the weirdos out of the position.

There are very few people on here that will actually jump all over you for something like that.

Its not a cyclic thing, its a people thing.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they have all written you apologies lol? Yes?

I understand that you are upset, but the people that are going to jump all over others for these type of reasons are going to keep doing it, its just them.

But you have nothing to fear from the vast majority of GC'ers.

So be of good cheer.
