1. Buy The Book & Write a Review
You can purchase the book directly on Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...381828-7997633
Also, please put a review on Amazon for me.....as long as you give me 5 stars and say something nice (smile).
2. Bookstores and Libraries
If you ask for the book at your local bookstore and library that will also assure that my book gets picked up in your local area (note - you can ask this even if you don't go back and purchase the book). This is a trick of the trade that folks use to get into some of the big chains!!! So please help me get in these distribution channels.
3. Book Signing & Seminars
Some of the best ways to promote a tax/finance book are through seminars sponsored by organizations with book signings following the event. Many of you belong to organizations (churches, sororities, etc) that might be interested in having me be a guest speaker. Please talk to your organizations and share this info as I can tailor many parts of my book. For example, for churches, I can talk more about charitable giving and helping the church come up with revenue streams besides tithing. For a social group, the interest may be more on some of the best tax deductions you can take. You get the point........... Be creative. I have a wonderful press kit and would be happy to forward it to anyone you think might be interested in having me speak.
4. Press Materials
I'm attaching a short blurb that you can use in sending out an email to your friends (hint hint) asking them to buy my book. I've also attached a press release and my bio as both may also be helpful in attaching to an email that you send out. My website should be up and running by the end of the month so I will send that to you as well soon.
