When do you begin your holiday shopping?I'm tempted to start now to avoid the rush.

I usually start between Halloween and Thanksgiving. I know that's broad, but I just go wherever a sale is. Wal-Mart always has that annual Mega, huge, supa-dupa sale on gooood stuff the day after Thanksgiving, so I try to camp out at 4:30am until they open the door at 6:00 to get first picks.

I ALWAYS start early (like in September) and I am usually done by Halloween. The holidays are just so much more enjoyable when I don't have to worry about buying gifts, crowds, etc.
I just have 2 more gifts to purchase and I am done!

I generally start between December 23rd and 24th. (Unfortunately that's not a joke.)

I usually get it all completed during the month of November, I hate the crowds during the month of December, so I like to finish before that month comes about.

I start shopping after Thanksgiving. For the most part I finish before mid-December. However, there is always one person I forget, so I find myself at the mall Christmas eve.

This year, my siblings and I decided to start TODAY for x-mas shopping. It's a lot cheaper and there is more flexibility with the stores, with sales and with TRAFFIC

Holiday Rush
I'm a broke college student who usually goes during the rush season because I don't get the money in time. Hopefully, I'll make it before the rush. Wish me luck...

My Man and I usually start at the end of November. But what we do in late October is send out an email to folks asking what they wanted for Christmas and there are no limits. They can start as small as a bar of soap to as large as a 2003 Lexus..........that doesn't mean they are going to GET what they want.

Last year for X-mas my LS didn't have the dough to buy, so what she did was make her gifts and they were blutiful. She is so talented! The dough she had she used to buy the materials and the cost was under $30. She made photo albums, picture boxes, frames and some other things.
Just some ideas from one college student to another.

The day after Christmas
I start Dec. 26 and pick up things all during the year. I'm finished now, all I have to do is wrap gifts, mail out cards.
