SNIPES’ SECRET CEREMONY: Wesley and his babies’ mama allegedly wed last week.

(Mar. 24, 2003) *Moving as quick as vampire-slayer Blade, actor Wesley Snipes reportedly wed Nikki Park, the mother of his two youngest children in a New Jersey clerk’s office last week.
Northjersey.com reports that Snipes was spotted at the Bergen County Clerk’s Office for an impromptu wedding ceremony with County Clerk Kathleen Donovan.


Donovan would neither confirm nor deny the rumor and Snipes’ spokesperson referred questions to Snipes’ personal assistant who could not be reached for comment. (How many assistants do these HollyHood types need?)

In any event, county staffers and others are saying the actor had a quickie wedding most likely to Parks, who is a Korean painter and Snipes’ girl for the last several years. Snipes, who is 40, has a home in Alpine, New Jersey.

I heard on the radio today that Lauryn Hill is preggers with baby #5!!! Of course, the father is Rohan Marley, who is currently married to someone else (who has 2 of his children) and who also has a baby with Lauryn's cousin. Too much drama, I tell you!

I was thinking the same thing! I knew about three, but where did four come from!?!? I did not hear about all of that. But, when I saw her dramatic change in appearance, I knew there was drama.

The childish feud between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake continues

Enough already. As if it wasn't pathetic enough when Justin Timberlake used his "Cry Me A River" video to exorcise the demon known as Britney Spears from his life, now B.S. is slapping back with her own evil twist.

But before I tell you what Britney's got up her sleeveless sleeve, let's just recap what depths the former 'NSYNC-er has sunk to, shall we? Justin's "justice" vid was released back in November and featured 18-year-old model/actress Lauren Hastings playing what could only be construed as a Britney look-alike. Perhaps it was the newsboy cap and tinted pink sunglasses that gave it away -- but we got the point. In the creepy video we see Justin spying on his supposed ex who is seen getting into a car with another man. Plotting his revenge, he breaks into her estate and leaves a tape of himself making out with another woman running on her TV. I guess revenge is a dish best served on a Toshiba.

But alas, as always, where there's a tit there's a tat. Britney has reportedly hit back, striking a low blow with the video footage for her new single "I Love Rock 'n' Roll." According to the U.K. tabloid The Mirror, her latest masterpiece features Britney teasingly flashing a cell phone number and the name "Ben" scrawled on her hand.

Hmm, could she be referring to J.Lo's slave Ben Affleck? If you believe the rumors, supposedly Brit and Ben were all over each other last year at The Sunset Room in Los Angeles and sources claim she winded up with nothing but her Underoos during a game of strip poker with Ben at a friend's house. Let's just hope Loopy Lopez doesn't get a chance to see Britney's latest slap back at Justin -- Ben will never hear the end of it!

What R&B diva recently got a rude awakening when her record company told her that her husband could not produce her entire upcoming album. Apparently, said singer’s label was unhappy with some of the tracks the diva’s hubby produced and sent her back into the studio with a couple of other producers. Shockingly,
a regular production powerhouse that normally produces on
the diva’s album won’t be used at all this time as well. Could
this be carryover from that family tiff?

Could this be Brandy? At first I thought Toni Braxton, but then I realized it HAS to be Brandy?

* Hollywood sex kitty Vivica Fox had to put in nearly a year of training for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film "Kill Bill." The recently divorced actress has now landed a deal to produce and star in a Showtime revamping of the vintage lady detective series, "Get Christy Love." Fox is also developing a show with Tracy Edmonds and Edmonds Entertainment for the USA Network. She will executive produce the show that is tentatively titled “The Vivica Fox Show.” You can also catch the once soap star opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in “Boat Trip,” which was released last weekend.

* Rolonda Watts, who also has a recurring role on “Days Of Our Lives,” will also appear on Fox's "Boston Public" in the coming weeks. Rolonda will play Monica Clemens, the mother to Tamyra Gray’s character Asia. Her name is really Aisha, Iesha, however yo peeps spell Eyeisha Also check for the former talk show host on "Live with Regis and Kelly" over the next two weeks. Ro is one of the three celebrity judges for their "Live American Co-Host,” where the winner gets to co-host alongside Regis Philbin, in addition to a $10,000 development deal with Buena Vista Television and a one-year contract with television agency NS Bienstock.

Monique will be starring in the movie ‘Beauty Shop’. Monique plays a stylist working in a hair shop while trying to escape the IRS.

Actress Jennifer Lewis will be starring in ‘Nora’s Hair Salon’. The movie will also star Tamala Jones, Bobby Brown and Tatyana Ali. (Afrochic's sidenote: What's up with all these beauty barbershop themes?)

The music group Dru Hill is being sued by their former manager. Kevin Peck claims the group bilked him out of a fortune in management fees by breaking their contract with him. Dru Hill is back with a new LP and a great new song called ‘I Love You’.

Larenz Tate returns to the big screen in the movie ‘A Man Apart’. Vin Diesel also stars in it; the movie opens in theatres on April 14th.

Bernie Mac is on the cover of GQ Magazine. Get ready for Bernie the movie star his new movie with Chris Rock opens in theatres on Friday. This summer he will be co-starring in the new Charlie’s Angels movie. Bernie talks about the state of his TV Show in the new TV Guide. Bernie opens up about the co creator of his show getting fired. Bernie says both sides were too stubborn. Larry says Fox is not behind the show and keeps preempting it for other shows. I agree with Larry why do they keep preempting Bernie’s show and Cedric the Entertainer. This week the show is being preempted as they debut the new comedy show from Wanda Sykes. Now speaking of Cedric he’s set to star in a black version of The Honeymooners. Remember the comedy classic? Jackie Gleason and Art Carney played Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton. Queen Latifah didn’t bring home an Oscar but her movie ‘Bringing down the House’ is the No. 1 movie in the country for the third straight week. Queen Latifah looked fabulous at the Academy Awards and she sung very well. Queen Latifah lost out to her Chicago co-star Catherine Zeta Jones. The musical Chicago took the top honors for the night as it was honored with the Best Picture Award. Actor Adrian Brody won Best Actor for his role in ‘The Pianist’. As he accepted his award he shocked the hell out of Halle Berry when he gave her a tongue kiss on stage. To say Halle was shocked was an understatement. Nicole Kidman won best Actress for her role in ‘The Hours’. Roman Polanski picked up the Best Director Award for ‘The Pianist’. Polanski did not attend the ceremony he is still wanted for arrest on a rape charge. Years ago Roman was accused of statutory rape involving a 13 year old girl. Enimen skipped the ceremony and no one performed his nominated song but he was a big winner as he walked away with the Oscar for Best Song. The song ‘Lose Yourself’ is featured in his movie ‘8 Mile’. In other movie news the Cuba Gooding Jr. movie ‘Boat Trip’ with Vivica A. Fox did not do well it only made 3.7 million at the box office.

“Soul Food” star Rockmond Dunbar not only celebrated a recent birthday, but the talented actor also announced his engagement to model Ivy Holmes. Yes, before I get e-mails from women who want to know, Ivy is a sister. The happy couple announced their engagement at a party at the Los Angeles hotspot Cinebar. Friends, family, and Rockmond’s costars Malinda Williams and Nicole Ari Parker were on-hand to help celebrate.
