Help! Please evalutate this situation!

this past weekend I shacked @ theta chi w/ this guy I was kinda together w/ at the end of last year. He is kinda sketchy and has never been good at communicating~and I let him know that wasnt cool. ANyways, that night he promised to be "more vocal" and that "things would get better between us" blah blah and was really cute-although Im sure he was drunk. When I left the next morning he explained he had a lot of homework but that he would try and leave me an instant message later. That was sunday-he did IM me yesterday, wednesday, but only to ask me some stupid question about Ireland then he had to go to class. I am just wondering-should I be completely freaked out that he hasnt called? Have I gotten totally played? or could he just be oblivious/busy?! please help! Thanks!
