I was the rush chair 2 years ago, so I know the stress that comes with rush. When I rushed in the fall of 1998 (god, so long ago) I actually dropped out because I didn't think that I was going to have enough time to do homework, do the sorority thing and hang out with my dorm pals...however I actually ended up COBing (informally joining a few weeks after rush ended) Tri Delta and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I don't know what I would have done without those girls. Even though I just graduated I still have close ties with the girls. I just moved to Chicago and some of the girls are coming down for my birthday next weekend and like I said I was there last week to see Tri Delta win the Greek Homecoming competition!!
So anyway...it is good to hear that you are still considering rushing later....seriously, it will be the best thing (hopefully) that ever happened to you too, regardless of which house you end up in (although if you joined DDD that would be cool too!!). If you have any more questions or even if you would be interested in talking to other Tri Deltas at Madison, please don't be afraid to ask. Email me if you need:
