Geez, is anyone else hurting as much as I am this morning????

I didn't even drink that much last night.... every bone in my body aches, my feet especially hurt like hell b/c of the shoes I wore, and I did not get nearly enough sleep. Oh, and even after washing my hair twice, i can still smell the cigarette smoke (i don't smoke).

Damn 10AM Contracts class that I have to be at.... why on earth would I want to go there, which involves making myself look human and trudging in the freezing cold to wait for the bus, etc.... when I could stay at home, and sleep, in my nice warm bed......

Sorry, I guess this turned into a whine. But i know there's gotta be a lot of you feeling the same way this morning!

hey, I'm feelin' ya...

I made it to 4 different parties last night, and got slightly drunk... Went to bed at 3am... had to get up at 6am, shower and leave house by 7am to be at work at 8am. Yes, im a college student, but I'm co-oping, so no classes for me... just real world work!!

I'm sore too... I was dancing at one place, riding on the back of a scooter at the next place...

I had a blast though

I am. It's one of those days where, after you drink, you wake up with a bunch of random bruises and you don't know how you could have gotten them.

OMG the Unidentified-Drunk-Bruises, I'm the queen of those. I got back from Mountain weekend with a fraternity and I had about 20 little pen-tap size bruises on my left lower leg on the outside. WEIRD ... I only noticed it cause the bag I was carrying kept bumping it and I was like, 'ow..ow..ow..' Then I also had about 15 OTHER bruises on my butt/thigh/leg/arm/knee , however I did spend a whole weekend in a campground with a fraternity... so I guess that's a good explanation...

When you are hung over, try rubbing in between the bones of your big toe and the toe next to it. (Like, more on your foot though) One of my sisters swears by it....I believe it's some kind of reflexology thing.

it was my good friends birthday yesterday (he's a halloween baby

) and organized this 21st birthday/halloween bar crawl. we made it to 8 bars and then to his house after... when you turn 21+ at some bars here, you get something like 21 pitchers for like $25 - a nice sweet deal. we drank every last drop of every pitcher we got - and we hit up 4 bars that do the pitcher deal. it was a crazy night....

and now i am at work... doing dance marathon/children's miracle network stuff and definitely feeling it....

it's ok, i'll be up at 7am tomorrow tailgating for Hawkeye football vs. Wisconsin

Now imagine that, x3 cards per bar, x2 guys turning 21 the same day, and ou start to get an idea of my 21st birthday - it was nuts, IA city is a great place to turn 21, especially for the 40 or so guys who drank for basically free b/c of it.

That said - I think I'm still loaded. Was it worth it?

I feel I'm hurting the most here.....

I GOT MIP'd outside my own hallway.

The police have made it habit to walk through the hallways of fraternity row to look for MIPs (can they do that?). I was walking down my steps of my own apartment with a can in hand, and they were standing there (before you go into it, YES, I know it's all my bad)

If I had gotten it somewhere else it wouldn't feel as bad, but to know that it was in my own place and the piggies say that the hallways are public places (which I guess is true), it feels worse.

Well, it was the best ending to the worst day of my life, but I still kinda had fun at the HUGE party we had (courtyard was at capacity), so it's all good. I can afford the fine, and I don't have my license yet anyway.

I'm hurting, but I didn't party last night. I wish that was why... Instead, I fell down the stairs as soon as I got to work this morning and landed squarely on my right knee!
