Jacka$$ the movie

Anyone going to see it? I am seeing it tomorrow but they say there is no "hollywood" type influence in it. I only waste money on stupid cheesy comedies so I guess this will be one of them.

Oh man, I saw it last night and let me tell you, if you like the show, you'll love the movie. If you didn't care for the show, don't waste your money because it's simply a longer and more intense version of the show. Which in my opinion makes it hilarious! But if you're going to go see it, go sometime this week when there will still be a big crowd. The experience of 100 - 200 people in the theater laughing, groaning, and gagging makes the movie even better. The pandas and the fireworks scenes are reason enough to go see it.

This was seriously one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It was the highest grossing movie of the weekend so there must be a lot of fans.

Most of the performers in "Jacka$$" are from the West Chester, PA area. My younger bro saw the movie there and said that when one guy mentioned that he was from WC, the ppl in the movie theater cheered...

I haven't decided to protest this one or not. I mean...really. There are people who work hard their entire lives to get a shot at being in a film. They play by Hollywood rules, union rules, academic rules when they are training, etc. And these people get to do it because they found out people laughed at them when they fell off their skateboards. I would be less angry if they had some semblance of care of or dedication to The Craft but no, they are just jackasses. This is what I'm competeing with. Think about this, if a car company sprang up and decided not to hire union workers, they would be protested and picketed and sued and probably be put out of business. But this is only "enterainment." Entertainment has its orgin in art and vice versa. If you go to see this movie, you are saying, whether you know it or not, that this, Jackass, is a great work of art. Well, its not. Its okay to be bawdy and have spectacle, those things are vital, but so are ethics. Johnny Knoxville should have to pay SAG dues. If they are union I'll take this all back. But seriously

Welcome to 2002, where it's about looks and other stuff, and not talent. That's why we have Britney Spears, and the Big Tymers.

I saw Jackass on Wednesday night and I laughed my ass off!!! The only part that really bothered me was the portion involving paper cuts.

Another argument.. but unions are past their time of usefullness. They need to go the way of the dinosaur.

Auto line workers don't need to make $30 per hour and be almost impossible to fire.

ANYHOW...

It was an entertaining movie and I could care less about the union aspect. I laughed so hard my face hurt.
