Tomorrow night my chapter and I are hosting our first ever Longaberger Basket Bingo. We are really excited about it, because we have had several years of pretty disappointing fundraisers. From ticket sales alone we have already raised about $1,600 and we will still be selling tickets at the door, as well as food, raffles, etc. We are all so excited about it. The bingo will be tomorrow night, so I hope everything goes well! Wish us luck! I'll be sure to post the final turnout.

Thanks to everyone who wished us luck. The bingo was a great success. We sold 275 tickets (our max was 300, so we were close!) and we sold so much food, we ran out! Our food sales alone were $2000. Tickets were $10 each in advance, $12 at the door, so we made about $2850 in ticket sales. There were other sources of income at the bingo, such as raffles and special games, so we made some more money there as well. Our bursar did not yet give us the final profit, but we estimate that we made between $6000 and $7000. We are going to donate some of that to the National Kidney Foundation, our national philanthropy, and the rest will go to formal! Tickets for formal will be cheap this year! Yay!
