U Memphis Sorority Active Allegedly Stole $30,000 from Sisters

A U. of Memphis sorority member -- serving as a chapter vice president -- allegedly stole from her sisters. Reportedly she “forged 33 checks totaling about $30,000” over six months.

According to the article (below), Pi Beta Phi confronted her, but she did not / has not returned the money.

Sad / bad news; I hope the chapter's insurance (or officer bonding provisions) can cover the loss that sisters experienced.
