Question Did you folks like Brown Sugar?

Sorhors, Sistafriends, and Friends,

Does anyone highly recommend Brown Sugar? I want feedback before I go and see this movie.

GO

Although I thought the movie was just ok, the storyline sems like it been done so many times before. But I say go see it, and judge for yourself. I never listen to movie critics or friends, etc. Your taste may differ.

I don't think it was the greatest movie of all times, but I thought it was decent... I loved it. I'm a music freak anyway (hence my membership in TBS), so I could really relate to the movie. I thought it was going to be another "Best Man"/"Love & Basketball" type of flick, but it had a few little twists in it.

It was ok. A little too sappy at the end though for me. I would say wait until it comes out on video/dvd.

I like the sound track though.
