Exclamation Trying to save my fraternity house, need financing ideas!

I've been working for a year to rescue my undergraduate fraternity and their house from a foreclosure sale by my undergraduate university. The work is almost done, but I still have to put together outside financing to take out old debts. Banks are having a problem with our foreclosure history. I need to find an outfit that can provide 70% financing on a good piece of property, without personal guarantee. There's alot on the line, so I'd very much appreciate any kind of informational assistance any of you may be able to offer.

Thanks very much.

I wouldn't have a clue where to begin.
Could you call your National Organization?

FraTGUY, WHERE IS YOU CHAPTER AND HOW MANY ALUMS DO YOU HAVE? We are in the process of trying to build a new house without outside financing if possible. A lot would depend on the size of your chapter and if there is any National assistance they may be able to give you if you are worthy enough to keep. I say that because we had a Brother at International HDQ who beleived that there shuold be NO SMALL SCHOOL chapters. Well guess what, He Is Gone!

Each Greek Organization can only grow by adding to their membership!

While we have only X amount of Alums, some can give more than others! Our plan is to go after those Brothers and get Big donations, but for the rest of us, we have set a figure of 1250.oo. $250 down and monthly paymen of 50.00 a month set up on credit card which was set up with one of my Brothers company.
We feel that many Brothers will respond from the responce that we have gotten. Most want to give something and get envolved.

Founders Day 2 years ago, one Brother held up a 100.00 bill and wanted to know if anyone wanted to put money in the pot. The EMC grabbed a beer pitcher form the bar and we collected 1300.00! Any fund raising progams can gain la little for the coffers. If you lose your house it is tuff on all of you as it is a central place for everyone to be at and know they will find a Brother there! Good luck and keep us informed!

Yo FratGuy, any ideas yet?
We are setting a low limit of an introductry amount of money and so much a month on Credit Card. We have Brothers that have set this up for us at No charge. We want some Big Gunners that can give more as a donation!
Any smaller amounts will go into an educational fund for scholarships.
You have to start somewhere but you have start!
So keep me informed!!!! Greastet of LUCK!!!!!
