Did anyone else go to NPC?
I had an out-of-state job interview on Friday and returned home Saturday afternoon, so I was not able to attend the NPC Centennial Conference luncheon -- but I did go to the banquet. I'm sorry I didn't get to sit in on any of the meetings. The AGD Intl President greeted me right away. (I hadn't seen her since the 1989 convention!) It was good to see her and the others in the AGD delegation.
The exhibit of NPC member memorabilia was neat -- each NPC group contributed pictures, badges, souvenirs.
After the dinner there was a skit. The players were reps from the Northwestern chapters of the founding NPC groups. Songs from the period were sung by a Tri-Delt from NU who was Miss Illinois. She had a beautiful voice.
Among the guests were representatives from the national organization of Latino GLOs.
Glad I went. Happy 100, NPC!
