Fraternity Sweethearts- initiated?
Just saw a post on a Facebook girl group I’m in, she had just been named chapter sweetheart and was wondering what things she should do for the chapter before her initiation.
Are sweethearts initiated into the fraternities?

Some groups may do some sort of special "initiation" for a sweetheart, probably a leftover from the old days of little sister "initiations." But not the actual fraternity initiation.

The sweetheart was sometimes a little sister but not always so the 2 really don’t have anything to do with each other. But no, sweethearts are not initiated.

When I became a Sigma Chi Lil Sis, we had a short ceremony where we got our pins. Two of my sorority sisters were Sigma Chi Sweethearts and they had a ceremony, but not an initiation.
