#1 my brother has been a Barry Bonds fan since like 1990 and #2 the guy that I have been dating likes Atlanta and he decided that we don't need to date right now, we just need to be friends, which is fine, but I love that his team got beat! I need to text message him and tease him!

Isn't it something that the 3 and 4 seeds won the playoff rounds? If baseball would have been in the 4 division format, those four teams would not have even made the postseason.
I know! I am so happy for the Angels, but way more elated about the Giants!!! I was so nervous watching the game last night! Especially the bottom of the ninth, but my boys came through!!! I was a little disappointed that the A's didn't make it because I wanted the Giants to beat them in another Bay Bridge series. I'm going to try to get playoff tickets when they go on sale in 15 minutes. Wish me luck!!!
ladyj39- I totally agree with you as a diehard Giants fan, I am totally elated to see them in the hunt once again!!! Also I would have loved to see another "Battle of the Bay" series, but Mother Nature seemed to get a little bit pissed off that Oakland and SF were the last two teams standing.
I would prefer not have another major earthquake (even though it does seem like we are due), especially considering I was at the A's-Giants game that fateful October day. But, anywho enough rambling............
I'm sooooo happy!! I've been a Giants fan all my life (born and raised in San Francisco )... I only got to watch the 9th inning last night and was so nervous! So happy they pulled it out and can't wait for them to get to St. Louis!
