Hello everyone, I just wanted to vent for a minute about the lack of discretion within the media, be it television or radio. I was listening to the radio yesterday morning and they were talking about a "beef" between rapper JaRule and rapper DMX. Now I know that things are public knowledge, but why fan the flames by playing what JaRule said about DMX on nationwide radio?Things were said such as this man being a "crackhead" a certain slang word for the female anatomy and a female dog. It saddens me that these black men, who are at the pinnacle of success have to lower themselves to such mudslinging. Haven't they learned from the deaths of TuPac and Biggie? I fault the media on this one, because if they didn't put it out there it wouldn't be known who said what and if it was it would be between the individuals. I understand about being in the public eye, but the media should focus their energies on finding these missing children, right now here in South Carolina there are a number of missing people, most recently two African-American girls disappeared without a trace in their car. There has been minimal coverage on that. Sorry this is so long it just sickens me that we may be burying another person due to the indiscretions of the media and their cohorts. Yours Truly, Traci
