Tikis are bad luck. Did you not see that episode of the Brady Bunch?

I hate how people associate tikis with being Hawaiian. Tiki isn't even a friggin' Hawaiian word and there's nothing Hawaiian about it.

Tikis

You wear them around your neck...some people put them on their rear view mirror, similar to a graduation tassel, but they are meant to be worn around your neck....

If your name is Bobby Brady.

Idols and figurines similar to the tiki were placed in burial caves with the dead bodies after proper ritual took place. Removing them and touching them after being disturbed meant you were cursed.

That's why I don't understand why anyone would want to exploit something like that.

WTF? That's just letters on wood. Why would you call it a tiki?

There is an awesome song for this.

Check out the lyrics here! http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/thepr...loungegod.html

"When Bobby Brady found the idol in the rubble
Had no idea it would cause so much trouble
When Greg tried to throw it back in the ocean
There was a rumble, an awful commotion"
-- Presidents of the United States of America
