Skin Care Routine

Since it's winter time, do you change or vary your skin care routine i.e. change your regular cleanser to a gentler cleanser?

For me: I don't change my cleanser (I have oily skin) but I do change my moisturizer and astringent. I still try to exfoliate my face two times a week.

....

I used to always change my skin care! I went from a harsher to a more mild cleanser, less toner, etc. But right now I'm using ProActiv. I will however, change my fondation to a lil' bit heavier texture with some moisture to it. And I am obsessed with exfoilation!!!! Philosophy The Greatest Love......ahhh...

I got a question:

I'm thinking about starting to use some skin care products. A couple of my friends ( who are guys) are currently using Oil of Ole (sp?) every once in awhile. I want to know if any of you have any ideas as to what guys should use. I assume we're not supposed to use the same stuff chicks use, thats why i'm asking some of you for sugestions.

C, head to the Clinique counter and check out what they have. I know they make a whole line of skincare products for guys.

Cetaphil makes good cleanser and lotion for dry/oily skin types. Neutrogena, I think now includes a male version of their skin care. But Clinque is good too!

I'm sooo low maintenance when it comes to skin. God chose to bless me in the skin department. Trust me I'm forever thankful! During the winter I use my regular creme cleanser with my prescription rosacea lotion and top it w/ a thin coat of moisturizer for normal skin. I don't dare touch it w/ astringent. I'd get so dry. I barely use it in the summer. I don't wear foundation, so I can get away w/ washing my face just once a day. I also use gentle eye makeup remover around my eyes and lips, if I happen to wear any makeup. I use a thick coat of Carmex on my lips and then some creme lotion on my hands and feet before I go to sleep. Needless to say I have dry skin

you know you like to watch the Christopher Lowell Show.

Christopher Lowell is from my bf's hometown. So is Calvin and Hobbes creator Bill Watterson. random factoid of the day.
