Who Likes to Write Poetry?

I am a young writer who enjoys writing poetry. None of my work has been publish nor have I tried to get it publish but I still like to write and one day I might try to get something published. here is a sample:

How you Livin?

You've just dug a ditch that only you can fit under which earthworms and snakes occupate but is only their estate and not there enternal resting place. So why dig ditches thats only an entrance and the gates to that entrance separates life and death. A death that will open your eyes in hell and a life which will only end. Best Believe It

I'm in an MFA program, concentrating in poetry, but also fiction. I wrote this for class today.

Probate

Cacophonies of silence fill this place
My eardrums burst with every muted shout
Though fear shall not appear upon my face

I represent the thousands of my race
Who know the pain of which I talk about
Cacophonies of silence fill this place

And I daren’t move; not even for a pace
New families could quickly cast me out
Though fear shall not appear upon my face

Seven stand, though more began the race
Seven strong – weary, but still stout
Cacophonies of silence fill this place

From bloody anchor to the bloody ace
Our grit – do not mistake it for a pout
Though fear shall not appear upon my face

I march across the sands bearing the mace
Who knows the pain of which I talk about?
Cacophonies of silence fill this place
Though fear shall not appear upon my face
