I know that a lot of people disperse after graduation and I don't know if this has been disccused before but what they did at my hs was have students and alums call alumni, parents, friends and ask for donations reminding them that donations are tax deductible (in other words, instead of the money going to the gov't why not give it to this organization) and it was a great way for students to connect with alumni and for alumni to keep in touch.

It might be somewhat costly but i think it could bring in a lot of revenue as well as keeping alumni involved. Another thing would be to go to business leaders and ask them to promote it within the business or something like that. Just look at the second quote in my sig besides they can say that the fraternity is a big part of the community and by supporting it, you give back to a community that helped you. Maybe the fraternities can help boost business or something along those lines.

Just suggestions

Exclamation

Not sure if you are talking about just Canada, but in the US, the only tax eductable money to a Greek Org is for Educational Purpose only!

Not to the Chapter or the building fund, etc.

The IRS in its finuted wisdom will not allow the Educational Foundation to eve make bonafide loans for other purposes which sucks considering all of the Crap that the Major Corps are do ing and getting away with for taking emplyees retirement.

Hell all we want to do is help build our Chapters, Houses where Members can live usually cheaper than school housing and getting less as Govt. money is being taken away for the schools!

My dumb assed school tore down 2 dorms and built a plaza, Da! But we cannot have Freshmen living in the chapter house!

Murphys Law of Stupidity! (?)
