Graduate admissions tests

Anyone out there taken both the GRE and the GMAT?

I had been planning on going back to school for my MBA, but I've decided instead to get an MPA. And the MPA programs require the GRE, not the GMAT - thank goodness, since it is waaayyyy easier (at least the new one without the logic section is)!

However, one of the programs I really like is the only MPA program that requires the GMAT. I don't really fancy taking two tests, especially if I have to put in a lot of time studying for a harder test that only one school cares about. My practice tests indicate I will get an OK score at least, but is it worth putting in a lot of effort for studying for a great score? Or should I not even bother and apply somewhere else?

Any advice would be appreciated - thank you!
