One of our AST sisters (alums) is in the hospital...
One of the Zeta Chapter's alums, Tracey Bond is in hospital. She was up until recently the Director of Fraternity Programs. She was hospitalized last night with blood clots. If you want to send her a card, the address is below...
Here is where you may reach her:

Here's the email from my chapter advisor...Teena, you might know her (She's Amy Brooks..)
Dear AST Sisters,
>
> Please keep Tracy Bond in your thoughts. I spoke with Tracy today and
> she is at St. Luke's hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Tracy is going to be
> fine, but was taken to the hospital yesterday when she was walking to
> work and couldn't breathe. She had been experiencing pain in her legs
> and thought that it might be serious but was told that it wasn't. She
> wasn't feeling well, but kept up with her normal routine. She has
> several blood clots in her legs and one had reached her lungs when she
> experienced distress yesterday. She feels fortunate that she tried to
> go on with her normal routine and realized how much distress she was
> really in.
>
> Tracy is in great spirits today, however she has had an incredibly scary
> 24 hours and needs our positive thoughts and prayers and phone calls.
> She may be in the hospital for several days, and is bored and asking
> that her AST files be brought to the hospital. I recommended crafts
> instead!! She is up for phone calls (I asked her to be sure we wouldn't
> overwhelm her).
>
> Patti, Tracy said that your sharing Simon's experience made her think to
> take aspirin and had been taking one a day since her legs started
> feeling funny. Her doctors feel that the aspirin was a bring
> contributing factor to her being ok today.

Teena and everyone else,
I got another email today. You can read it below...
Dear Sisters,
>
> I spoke with Tracy Bond this afternoon. She has been back at the
> hospital since Thursday after being released on Tuesday afternoon. Her
> body was not doing what the doctor expected on its on and she needed
> additional procedures. She had been heavily sedated for several days,
> but I spoke with her today and she was in good spirits. She mentioned
> the many kind wishes for recovery she has received from sisters. I know
> everyone is keeping her spirits up during this difficult time. Tracy is
> on blood thinners and is not allowed to move from bed. The hospital
> will allow her to go home once her level (blood?) is up to 44 (she is
> only at 37) -- sorry, everyone I'm not well versed in medical
> terminology. Her leg is swollen from the blood clots, but they seem to
> have dissolved most of them. She may be in the hospital for several
> more days.
>
> Tracy is now in room 706. Her phone number is 610.954.1706
>
> She has been unable to sleep and would welcome phone calls. Tracy has
> all men taking care of her (brothers, dad, and fiancé), so she thought
> having them bring her doll stuff to her would be too big of a task! :-)
>
> Please keep Tracy in your thoughts and prayers. Please forward this
> information to all sisters who will want to be updated on Tracy's
> progress.
>
> In Sisterhood,
> Jenni Kemmery (she also forwarded the first email to my chapter advisor, Amy)
