Study Abroad

Hey DZs. I've posted this in a few areas of Greek Chat, but I wanted to appeal to you guys for extra help since, after all, you are my sisters

I've just graduated and am working on creating a professional freelance writing career. One of my first jobs is to write about studying abroad for Student Leader magazine. I'm looking for some good people to write about. I don't have anyone who's mentioned Greek life yet, so why not look at Greek chat!

I love my girls, but I need to talk to some guys, so if you know specifically of a guy who went abroad and had a great experience -- and who learned something, too -- pass them my way. Also, I'm working on side bars for the article about what are must-see places if you're studying abroad or favorite (non-alcoholic) memories, and they can be from anyone abroad.

I'll be checking the posts, but the best way to reach me is at oxfordjen@hotmail.com. I'm trying to get everything togeter by September 13th, but I absolutely don't need it until late September.

ALSO!!!!! For anyone who's studied abroad, this could be a place we could discuss it -- and help anyone who wants to go but doesn't know how. So here's my story:

I went to Oxford, England for a semester through my school -- University of Tampa. It was an incredible experience and I would recommend it to anyone who has the inkling to go abroad, and to those who don't. If you have the chance, take it because not many do.

Thanks for your help, girls, and good luck to those doing rsh right now!

In DZ love and mine,
Jen

I apologize for intruding on your thread, but I just wanted to add my thoughts. I studied in Germany as a Rotary Exchange Student right after high school before starting college. I also spent a semester studying archaeology at University College, Cork (Ireland). Both were GREAT experiences and I have recommended study abroad to just about anyone who has a slight interest in travel!!

I know that I'm not a guy - which is who you were more looking for - but I just wanted to add my brief thoughts.

I still need help!

Sarah -

I could still use your help, guy or not. E-mail me at oxfordjen@hotmail.com (I check that more often than the boards) and we'll chat!

Jen
