I just wanted to let anyone who hasn't seen CNN today (and does not live in oregon) know that the two 13 yr old girls who have been missing for seven months have been found. America's most wanted had done a show on them and there was coverage around the US.
Unfortunately, one of the two girl's bodies was positively identified after an FBI investigation at Ward Weaver's Oregon City home. The other body was found today, and has yet to be identified. But it does not look good.
I did not know either girl... I have to admit... but what happened has been awful. The news stations here have been covering the FBI investigation all day. Our local channels have shown nothing else. However, the families of these girls continue to ask the public to pray for them. I would like to encourage everyone to pray or send good vibes or whatever you do.
There is so much to this story... There has been a huge outpour of love and support for the families. There has been extreme hate toward Ward Weaver for what he has (now admittedly) done. I know it is sad, but it is also important. If you have kids, hug them tight... be overprotective if you feel the need... just don't let this happen to them.
