Recs, recs, recs!

Hello again! I posted a few days ago that my account here is new but I've been reading this site for a couple years.

Since I will be going to an SEC school, my local alumnae council said at a meeting that I should try to get two recs for each house. Some say this is crazy, others might say this is necessary. Either way, I've been able to get about 20 women to say that they will write recs for me. I know that several have already completed it, but some of the others I haven't heard from since I sent my resume and picture. So I have a couple questions. Do I email them to remind them? Do I email them to ask if they need any more info from me? Is there proper etiquette for it? Should I just not say anything and assume they will all remember to do it? Help! Also, do any of you GCers write recs? I'm still missing a couple houses. Thanks and hope everyone has a great day!
