Recruitment season

Hello again!

Recruitment season is upon us! I will be rushing very shortly in the SEC and I am excited! If all goes well I will try to post a story by the end of the month.

Thank you!

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of what to pack in your purse that you take from house to house?

Tylenol/Ibuprophen,(other medication you might need. My dd has migraines, so she packed that medication just in case)
Band-Aids,
safety pins,
bobby pins,
make up for touch ups,
those face oil pad things to blot,
brush/comb,
small hairspray,
feminine products,
comfortable shoes for the walks between houses.
Go light on the perfume, that can overwhelm in large numbers of women.

This should get you started! And best of luck!

Big Day on Saturday

Recruitment season is moving forward. Saturday, August 13th, will have major recruitments completed. Alabama will be the largest. Auburn and Troy University will also have Bid Day on Saturday. Troy women received bids in the morning.

Isn't Oklahoma State's recruitment also ending this weekend? (Not exactly Alabama but still a large one!)

I recommend:
umbrella
rain jacket
towel to sit on
handheld fan
breath mints/gum
snacks that won't make you feel sick, even if you're nervous
bobby pins
deodorant
pen/pencil
sunscreen
extra makeup for touchups
water bottle
oil blotting papers
comfy flip flops
band aids

As someone who just finished a SEC recruitment, I used just about everything on this list every day. It makes your bag heavy, but it's worth it.

Yes theirs is today's also, one of my friends has a daughter who just opened her bid card to Gamma Phi Beta!! I did not know that the girls opened their bid cards in their rooms. In any event, it was thrilling to see the pure joy and excitement for her and her friends.
