trying to get a new chapter at MTSU

Hello!!!! I'm part of a group at MTSu that is trying to get our Panhel to invite TriDelta to colonize here. We did a lot of research about the different sororities, and we were so impressed with TriDelta. Our request was shot down pretty quickly, but we were told to start own own local with the intent to affiliate after a year. So that's what we're in the process of doing now, and it's not been easy. Hopefully within a year or 2 we won't be Delta Pi Kappa's anymore, but Tridelts. Wish us luck!!

I am Greek at MTSU and we are not getting another sorority any time soon. We just got a new sorority on campus in the spring of 2001. We will not get another one until ALL chapters can reach quota and all be around the same size active. Plus we have a great new greek advisor and it will be the best for Panhellenic if we don't get another chapter at least for 3 or 4 years!

I wish we had a Tri-Delt chapter here. I know ALOT of Tri-Delts and they are amazing women.

P.S.-The only reason I know all this stuff is because I was on Panhellenic last year and someone wanted another chapter! I am just passing on the info~

Another thought!I know that Phi Chi wants to affiliate with a NPC chapter. Maybe you can work with them and combine chapters and be stronger?!
