The Crop Circles: Who? What? Why?

There have been sightings of these crop circles for many years all around the world.

What are your thoughts about these sightings? If you have seen the picutures from the crops, how do you explain how they got there?

I have a hard time imagining someone making those designs and not ONE person heard or saw anything. I do not know how to explain their existence. Can you?

I see the crop circles as being ONE of the magnificent ways that GOD, himself, has and is showing his POWER AND MIGHT. I don't think that it's a surprise that man has not been able to figure out how they got there. I think that God is the artist behind those wonderful scenes and not, as I've heard in the past, UFO's or anything like that. As far as the crop circles (and a lot of other worldly mysteries) goes, I TOTALLY believe that it's not for us to know right now. All we have to do is view them and remember how GREAT, MIGHTY, and MYSTERIOUS the King of kings is. See, that's the wonderful thing about God. He's FFFFAAAARRRR beyond our comprehension. GOSH, I JUST LOVE HIM SO!!!!

Crop circles have always fascinated me. After doing some research, mostly reading, it seems the logical explanation is that they are definitely man-made. Not too long ago, Discovery did a show about them, and observed a team of "croppers" do their thing. They are very good, and fast, and are definitely artists. They do a lot of research, and contrary to popular TV culture, they mostly hit unpopulated countrysides, mostly in Europe, it would seem.
They use almost rudimentary techniques to ensure geometrical perfection, and speed and darkness are their greatest assets. So, I do not believe that crop designs are proof of extraterrestial life.
Still, having seen them done, I will still say that this may not explain every crop circle, and not all mysteries and miracles may be explained by simple logic. In such cases, looking "up" (to God) for an answer may not always be dumb.

The original crop circles were determined to have been done by kids with a two by four. The kids would place the two by four on a point and use to go 'round and 'round until the grain was flat. no mystery there.

now that people have found out how to do them they are becoming more and more intricate.

i personally don't think God would use crop circles to demonstrate his power. the world he created is already testament enough.

I think crop circle are man made. I once saw a show were three guys got together and created a big beautiful crop circle in just a couple of hours.

Crop circles have fascinated me for the longest time. I feel that yes, some ARE indeed manmade, but others are not. There are all kinds of things about life and this world that will remain a mystery. In one television special (Unsolved Mysteries, I think) they featured a scientist who tested samples of the ground from a crop circle and found that it was in many ways different from the soil outside the circles.

There was also a clip from a video that had recorded a crop circle "appearing." It just formed out the blue....all of the circles within the design flattened simultaneously. If I remember correctly, they said the video is being tested to see if it is authentic or not.

My thoughts on extraterrestrial life: God is awesome. He is the maker of the heavens and the earth. He has created humans in his likeness BUT he also created galaxies and all other types of things man cannot even begin to explain. It would be shallow of a person to think that only THIS world exists....but like my mama says, all will be revealed in due time.

I beg to differ, Markmywords. Remember the Word says that God will "take the foolish things to confound the wise". I'm not saying that He would do this JUST to be doing it (or maybe He would...He's God. He can do whatever He wants, right?). However, there a lot of things in the Bible (and, as a matter of fact, IN this world) that would be contrary to what you've said. Yes, the world IS a great testament. But, as we all know, God is so much more DEEPER than that.

But this is beside the point, right? You've said that it's been determined that kids have been doing the crop circles. So, maybe, at this point, my theory stands corrected.

Man-Made...

It's farm grafitti. Not extra-terrestrial and they have no real value outside of "ooh, look at that."

I know that some of the crop circles are man-made, I seen the specials on TLC also...

Some, however, seem way more intricate and I would not think that man could make those complicate designs in a 12 hour night. I have read about and seen picuters of crop circles that were truly an art form, detailed human faces and geometric shapes that definitely could not have been formed by a 3 guys with some wood and rope. Now maybe some type of laser of some sort--

Anyway what interesting to me is that most of the crop circles and crop designs seem too involve or imititate sacred geometry which Im not sure if there is any point to. If anyone knows anything about sacred geomety send me a PM or something. Its interesting especially with the movie and all.

As far as GOD creating the crop circles, I know that HE works in mystserious ways but what would be the point in making a sign that it appears no one can even interpete or even decide who created them. There are some many signs that GOD gives us in our everyday lives that what would be the point in creating some form of extreme art in the middle of a corn field that most people wouldn't see without the advances of technology and a movie promotion starring Mel Gibson.

No, God probably didn't do these "signs" but the real question is why have they been poppin up all around the world even before the making of the movie. As you can see I have to much time on my hands, sad huh???
