It's just not fair!
Take a look at the bean bag mascots on this link. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/inarush/sorbean2.html
Why does Zeta Phi Beta's dove get to actually look like a dove while our SK dove looks like some sort of radioactive chicken? :Pout: :sniff: :temper tantrum:

I wish I knew what to tell you. If it makes you feel better, I can't say that I've ever seen a bright red squirrel with a green belly.

I'm sorry but I had to laugh at the "radioactive chicken".
Guess they just wanted to go with bright colors, although unrealistic.
There are red squirrels, even the Post Office had them on a stamp for a while, but it definitely wasn't THAT shade!

Wow, I'm stretching my imagination to the max here and I STILL can't find any way, shape or form the SK beanie resembles a dove!

OK, that ASA bear is the most generic thing I have ever seen. A ladybug would have been so much better...I don't think they did much research.
The ZTA bunny is the cutest...and unfortunately, the DDD dolphin looks like she got caught in an oil spill.

Hmmm,
Did they just go through and assign every sorority that doesn't have a national animal mascot a bear?
I know one sorority has a teddy bear as a mascot i think, but i'm not sure which one.
haha, all i know is that the A&M AXO's have the best mascot ever. My little sister's room is full of all kinds of aligators. Definatly the coolest sorority mascot i've ever seen

If they wanted to stick to our colors so badly why didn't they do a lavender dove with maroon letters. Am I crazy to think that'd make sense? I mean Zeta's colors are blue and white. White dove, blue letters. I'm so tempted to get the Zeta one and just sew my letters over theirs! (Not out of disrespect. Just frustration.)

I was wondering the same thing. I have never seen a bear used as a mascot for AXO-even a local mascot. How hard is it to make a lyre?

Alpha Phi's mascot is a teddy bear as well. I think we just call it the Phi Bear but I'm not sure. Actually, it's kinda tied into some pretty secret stuff... so I'll be shutting up now.

One of KD's mascots is the Teddy Bear too, but we also have the katydid, which is kind of like a grasshopper. I would be really frightened if this company had made a katydid beanie!

I think that the DFE unicorn is cute.
If you want to order a beanie, you could request a white dove with your letters. They might accomodate you.
