Accurate Voting on PNMs

Hey Ladies,
I was wondering if any of you/your chapters had a better way to keep track of PNMs for voting. At the end of each party we all rush to our tables to vote on the girls we talked to. With the help of a booklet of pictures, we try to remember all the girls and how we felt about them.

Basically, I was wondering if your chapters had any ways to, while the party is going on, make note of the girls you talked to and their rank without slowing down bumping and letting the PNMs know that you are doing so. One girl in my chapter used to keep a small piece of paper with names and her vote but that system won't work for an entire chapter.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I'm going to assume you're part of a Panhellenic organization. My apologies if you're not.

I'm not sure how it works for all chapters but within Tri Sigma, what happens as part of our MS process and the logistics are private.

So I can't go on a website and say "Does anyone have a better way to help us vote?"

However, I can email other Tri Sigmas/advisors/etc.

Keeping notes during parties? I don't think it can be done. There's simply not enough time between PNMs, and you don't want to make notes while you're talking to a candidate, of course. Best bet is to make notes between. Or have a big enough bump group you only have to remember 3 or 4 girls instead of 5 or 6.

Voting - can't help you there, but one of my chapters uses some sort of electronic voting, FWIU, but I've never seen it done.

Then there's where only the people who met the PNM vote. I don't think that's any secret method.

Be sure to thoroughly go through your sorority manuals. A lot of times answers can be found there, with enough digging.

If the rest of the chapters on your campus are having this same issue, maybe you could bring it up to panhel before next year's rush and see if there could maybe be 5 extra minutes tacked onto the breaks between parties.

You need to talk to you regional or national recruitment officer. I think most if not all NPC groups have a method to do this....usually electronic.
