I'm going to the Salt Lake one this weekend. I'll let you know what happens and what to expect!
(PS I am sooo excited to be going! I'm never flown before, and I get to meet a ton of new Pi Phi's! )

Wow! I haven't been around a lot and have a ton of catching up to do...
...but I'll be in Atlanta with two of our chapter exec. I'm the lone alum going that I know of but I don't care. I've yet to make it to Convention so this is the next best thing!

Cherub,
I'll be in Atlanta as an AAC member also! I'll bet I can find you as the lone alumna from Toronto in the AAC sessions!
Erin - you'll have a wonderful time! Be sure to take lots of good notes and go with goals of things you want to bring your chapter ideas about.
Hillangel - ditto on the good notes and goals! Plus be sure to get your rest BEFORE the LSem. We keep busy!

I just want to say that I had a blast at the Leadership Seminar!I'm not going to spoil what all goes on, but I think those going to the Atlanta seminar will be pleasantly surprised by the changes going on in Pi Phi. This weekend was also a great time to meet new sisters and become even more motivated. I did take a lot of notes, and I plan to use some of the ideas to help improve our pledge program. If you're going to the next LSem remember to bring shoes! We had to do a lot of hiking. (Hey, it's nice exercise. )
PPL,
Erin

AACAngel - You're right, I should be very easy to find. I'm escorting the ladies from Ontario Gamma (Guelph) and our prez decided to book the flights at 7am, so I'll probably be the first one there as well! She wants to get some shopping in before LSem starts...hopefully we can get rid of our bags before we head out on the town.
carnation - Come on down to LSem! I don't know how much time we'll have free...from the looks of the schedule they sent we're tied up Friday 4-10, Sat 7-10ish and Sun 7-11:45. Woohoo!
Has it been as hot in Atlanta as it's been in Toronto? The last four days we've been at 43 celsius (107 F)
Wasting time in school,

Dear Cherub,
It's been about ninety degrees--with strong afternoon thunderstorms--this week.
I'm gonna check my schedule! Y'all are at Emory, right? Are those meetins 7-10 PM or AM?

That's so cute! You're having a big cookie shine at the convention? How incredibly Pi Phi! (Yum, I could go for one right now!)

I LOVE cookie shines! I miss them so much while at home this summer. We had one about once a month and we would sing songs and just be rowdy!

Yup, there will be a HUGE cookie shine at the next LSem. Ours was really cute, and it gave us a chance to learn some new songs that IN Gamma didn't know.
I also would like to say that during the LSem you get to meet the new TGC's! Oh they are wonderful! I will warn you Atlanta LSem gals...there is a four hour long workshop on that Saturday. It's long but definitely worth it!
PPL,
Erin

I'm all over learning songs!
There are a few alum that know songs, but our chapter is kinda useless in the singing department (for any On Gammas reading this, I love ya but you gotta admit it's true!)
Our last cookie shine was at our first ever parents day. It was supposed to be for the parents but we didn't give them enough room (the event was in an unofficial chapter house and we weren't expecting such a great turnout) so we did it ourselves.
Y'know, sometimes I miss being an active and getting to do all the fun Pi Phi stuff. I shoulda joined in first year and not waited till third!

Oh my gosh, I just looked at RowdySister's chapter's link and got all teary-eyed thinking about some of the songs. And how about "One, Two, Three Words"? I need to go to a chapter and sing!
Cherub, it looks like you guys don't have a lot of space in your schedule for visitors!
