Question I am SOL

So, what you should I do?

I have class every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6pm. Unfortunently, I couldn't make it to class last night because the cable guy was at my place and I didn't want to leave with him at my apartment alone. So, I sent her an email explaining the situation along with attachment of some essay questions that were due.
Now, here's the problem:
Our final is supposed to be tomorrow although the class technically doesn't end until next Tuesday (she is distributing the final early). She sent a reply email to me saying that she received my essay questions and that she decided to make the final a take-home test and that it is due on Thursday. She asked if I wanted her to send me an email attachment of the final. Of course I do! Well, this all happened last night and I still have not received the test. I tried calling her office but she's not there. I called the department of Sociology and they informed me that my professor would not be back in her office until 4:30pm tomorrow. The test is due at 6pm. I have no idea what to do! I think that I technically have a loophole since the final exams, according to UCF, are not supposed to be given until July 29. But, other than that, does anyone have any suggestions?

She knows the situation, she offered to send the final as an attachment. You have exhausted every normal avenue of getting in touch with her. You should be fine.

I would probably find out where she lives somehow, and call her but I am sickengly thorough somtimes.

Make sure you keep a record of all correspondence between the 2 of you. Also call the dept again and make sure someone there knows of your problem. That way if this becomes a bad situation between you and the professor you will at least have the proof that you made a good effort to get in contact with her.

Just tell her it is the cable company's fault. Anyone will believe that!

he he...

And now back to the topic

The same thing pretty much happened to me. I made arrangements to do a make up and I ended up getting an Incomplete in the class because I could not get a hold of the professor. My incomplete grade turned into an F because I got sick of trying to track him down!

Find someone else in your class to get a copy of the final...
