where did you pref?

I noticed many other Sororities have the question out there: Where did you pref? And what made you know Phi Mu was for you?

I guess I'll start, I knew from the second Phi Mu walked out of the house, I belonged there. Before Rush in 98 my mom's friend helped me get a TON of recs from her family members, but I remember the lady from Phi Mu stuck out above and beyond the other women. So of course we drove down the Sorority area to check out what the different houses looked like, and I just knew Phi Mu was for me (based on the outside architecture, how silly, huh!). Then of course during Rush, I loved the girls I met there and my choice was easy!! I guess the rest is history! There's much more to the story, but I'll spare you the gory details of getting accidentally released and then snap bids, etc. Bottom line is I knew this is where I belonged, and I was right!

I chose Phi Mu out of DG, Alpha Chi, ADPi, Zeta, KD, and Alpha Xi.
I know alot of women have waaayy more difficult decisions to make, but I'm wondering with Recruitment coming around, how did ya'll know you were supposed to be Phi Mu Ladies?

Tara
I have a Phi Mu castle...

I chose Phi Mu out of ADPi, AGD, XO, ZTA, and KD. I prefed KD and Phi Mu. The girls from KD were super nice, as were the girls from every other group, but I just felt like Phi Mu was ''home''. I looked forward to going back everday even though I didn't know anyone from Phi Mu. I also knew some alums that totally impressed me.

I also liked the Creed and all that fun stuff. It appealed to me that Phi Mu had lasted so long. I think that no organization could last for 150 years without some major sisterhood! As I get older and am about to leave, it's kind of sad to know that everything's about to change. It's encouraging, though, that alums play a major role in Phi Mu. And, my best friends will always be my best friends!

LIOB!!
