Rushing SWT

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Informal Rush at Southwest Texas State. I have trying to get the dates, but since each sorority is different I am running into problems. I have contacted the Pan council and greek affairs. They haven't gotten back with me yet. Thanks

Jules, my daughter is a Zeta at SWT, pledged this fall. Their informal rush is right before the second semester starts, which is Jan. 16. I know they took quota in fall, so don't know how many spots they have for spring. I have no idea about the others. I had good luck getting responses from Greek Affairs in summer, maybe you are having problems because of winter break. I would call closer to the beginning of classes, someone may be in the office early. Good luck.

Hey Jules, its nice to hear from someone close to home. I went to baylor university and now i transferred to the university of houston. I have many friends at SWT. Some are in sororities too... they are in Delta Gamma, and Chi Omega. If i get a chance, i will ask them for you. What year are you anyway?

I am a 1st semester sophmore. I think it's great to hear from someone who is around the area. Are u already in a sorority or are you rushing also?

Oh thats nice to hear you are from Deer Park. How are you liking SWT, all my friends LOVE it there. San Marcos may not be that big but its only about 30-45 minutes away form austin. Hope to hear from you soon and have an awesome day!

I am a first semester sophomore too. Where are you originally from? I am from houston. No I am not in a sorority, i wanted to rush this spring but it looks like i didnt have to grades. I am just worried about rushing next fall as a junior!

Jules..you should be receiving phone calls from the Membership Chairmen from the houses. I know there are 50 girls going through informal, and the Zeta parties are on Mon 1/15 and Tues 1/16. Hopefully someone has called by now.

Jules, Howdy Neighbor! i am San Antonio and happen to know the greek Advisor at SWT (I think his actual title is Director of Greek Affairs. He was our Greek advisor at UT-San Antonio for three years and is AWESOME! I am sure he can help you. I am emailing you his address. Hope this helps.
