When was the last time you------
Some things we did as children, some things we may still do. Add some of your own to these few examples.
Built a fort
Had a snowball fight
Were an imaginary person (Like cowboys and Indians)
Played Tag-Had a thumb war-Rock paper scissor-Hide and seek
Had an icecream cone
Watched clouds and tried to name their shape
Went to the circus
Saw a parade (MARDI GRAS DOES NOT COUNT)
Played a board game
For me the answer to all these is-Too long ago, I want to go to the circus!

as long as the circus doesn't use animals as a display I would like to go also-like cirque du soleil (sp?)

Played Life with my folks and GF on New Year's Eve..
Don't remember the rest unfortunately... I do remember how fun that stuff used to be.

Oh, boy, I love LEGOS! Sadly, mine have been put away somewhere and I haven't seen them in years, but my parents are probably thrilled since they always said LEGOS were too darn noisy.

legos are noisy?
i mean i understand when you first dump them out and spread them all over the floor
and HOURS later when you clean them up again
but what about those thousands of minutes where you're building and creating and destroying and rebuilding and enjoying what you've built and giving your characters lives and ...
legos rock

Well, justamom, you reminded me how much of a kid I still am! With the exception of building a fort and being an imaginary person, I have done all the things on your list in the past three years! (And the only reason I had to go back three years is cause that's the last time I went to a circus.)
My husband and I have thumb wars all the time.
Of course, I also collect My Little Ponies. I don't think it's so much that I act like a kid, I just don't want to lose those qualities that kids have that make life so much less stressful. But then again, maybe it's just because I have the worst long term memory of anyone I've met, and I honestly can't remember being a kid. Maybe doing these things reminds me that I once was a kid, even if I don't remember it.

I had an ice cream cone the other day-actually, I have them quite frequently. But the funnest kid stuff I've done lately has been with my fam. On Sunday we all filled up water balloons and threw them at each other. Yesterday, my brother and I played in the sprinkler. It's easy to keep doing fun kid stuff when you have a 3 1/2 year old brother.

I have an 8 yr old brother who is quickly growing up. But yeah, it is easier to be a kid when you have younger siblings. It's a great excuse to "be a kid."

JAM,
Nice list. Did a couple of them very recently. Way to long ago on most.
Just today, though, I went paddle boating with my middle daughter while Mrs. DeltAlum watched the grandbaby!

Last time I had an ice cream cone, played ball, played with my friend's hair, hid from authority figures, played foosball, hula-hooped, colored in a coloring book, cried so I could go to the nurse's office and get out of an activity, blew bubbles: all at Dance Marathon 2002.
Last time I played tag: Sigma Chi's Derby Days
Last time I wore a costume: oh, fifteen times over the course of the school year
Last time I "played doctor" or wore a Catholic schoolgirl uniform: two of the socials we had this year
Last time I went to big slumber party: formal retreat before initiation
Last time I wore my prom dress: Beaus and Arrows formal
See a pattern here? Greek life keeps us young!

I first read this thread late last night. After waking up this morning, I went into storage and brought my old Legos and She-Ra Princess of Power Castle out so I could play with them. My mom thought I was nuts. Here I was, in the living room, playing with my old toys.
This afternoon I went to the beach and made a half-a$$ sandcastle. Then I begged Jason to bury me in the sand.
It was nice.
