What is the most embarrassing/horrible/geekiest/ugly t-shirt that your fraternity/ sorority has ever given out? what's the best?

One in particular- from our formal, was our Mardi Gras themed formal shirt- It was bright orange and had a lobster on the back and it said "I partied my tail off at Mardi Gras 2000!"

Every Beach trip t-shirt my chapter has ever made. Usually all our shirts are good except the beach trip ones. It is cursed so we stopped making them.

First off, I need to clarify that this was NOT my sorority!!! lol But the T-shirt is tacky enough that I remember it 14 years later so I figure its worth posting.

Homecoming '87, Pitt was playing Navy in football and XY sorority wore shirts that showed a big fish about ready to chomp down on a submarine and underneath it said,
Swallow the Seamen !

My favorite T-shirt, by the way, was worn by Phi Delta Thetas and it said Phi Delta Theta: Chicks Dig Us . I just thought that was cute

Its a tie between greek week last year and derby days this year. Last years greekweek shirts were "abercrombie" orange with blue writing and they were/are UGLY its one of the only event shirts that I refuse to wear. The other is this years derby days shirts and theme was Derbie Grais which was okay, but the shirt is like a horrible 80's flash back with flouresent colors and everything. Both of those shirts are now 8 dollars rags for washing the car now.....

Bid Day 1999 shirts- they were an awful green color, everyone said they looked like hospital scrubbs! They showed up okay in pics though.

we were this close :uts fingers together:: to having a tshirt showing wally and the beav in mayberry and having the shirt say

"rush TKE, where the beaver comes to play"

Another round of horrid shirts actually happened. We got Move In shirts for helping the new freshman move in. They're international orange, and have TKE is huuuuuuuuge blue letters on the front. I'm tellin ya, on orange shirt day, we could line up the brothers in two rows and land airplanes between us. The things are that bright.

I love my old advisors but I would have to say the WORST t-shirt is the one my pledge class got for bid day. All they had were like XL and 2XL, so they shirts were hanging off us, and they were Green with our letters ub Red with yellowing lining. We looked like huge traffic lights and you could see a sister all the way across campus.

The best were probably the Alpha Glam red baseball jerseys we got with Alpha Glam and the dash under it in red glitter writing.

My chapter hasn't had any ugly shirts since I've joined. But some of our cutest ones would have to be our Bid Day 2001 shirts that look like the Cheers thing, but says ChiOmegas.."where everybody knows our name." Or our intramural tshirts that look like the superman symbol with our letters in them instead of an "S"

The t-shirt that ALWAYS gets passed down it a purple Planet Holleywood one that says Sigma Kappa instead of PH and underneath says State College, PA...they're all HUGE though! Someone finally told us they were from the 1st pledge class at PSU, though so now, even though we don't wear them, we have a little more respect for 'em.

The most embarassing is this year's hayride. It has a pic of a hotdog w/ sunglasses and a smiley face and says, "We'll bring the buns, you bring the weiners." We all thought it was hysterical, but noone really wears them around.

We have had some pretty awful ones. Last year's homecoming shirts were BRIGHT ORANGE (what is up with that color, seems like everyone has it on here) and the design on the back was "Survivor." It had this awful picture of a Bull (our mascot) in a Hawaiian shirt ...
This years homecoming shirt was a little crude, our theme was "Heaven and Hell" and our shirts said "If you're not a Bull, go to Hell!"
Our IM shirts are my favorite, also a little risque. We were IM Champions last year, and they say "Doesn't it feel good to be on top?"

Ok, we've had a few "questionable" shirts on elon's campus....
"Smile, you love us!" Greek Week 1999
"If you can't be the one you love, love the one your with"
"Bow down to the crown"
"I'm an XYZ and You aren't"
"got game" (my sorority did this and i still don't get it!)
"XYZ Fraternity, what are your other two wishes?"
"Only the Elite get invited to something so sweet"

Those are the only ones I can think of . AOTTLALA probably can add to them!

Ugly shirt: Bid Day '95. We were still a small colony at this point, and didn't have a lot of money. Another AEPhi chapter had had these Bid Day shirts made up, but the printers forgot to print one of the colors. The chapter had the shirts reprinted correctly for themselves, and let us have the bad ones at cost (like $5 each). They had the Looney Tunes characters on the front, with "Alpha Epsilon Phi Bid Day 1995", and on the back was Porky Pig saying "Th-th-th-that's all folks!" Would have been cute if it weren't for the garish colors and the one missing color. I had the opportunity to buy one, but passed it up. Yuck.

Nice shirt: That would be a toss-up between:
- Bid Day '96 - front: an American Express card on the front, reading Alpha Epsilon Phi, with a giraffe in the middle where the centurion's head is on a real Amex card, and "Member Since '96"; back: "Membership Has Its Privileges"
- Rush '96 - navy blue shirt with the Greek letters Alpha Epsilon Phi in white, in the same font the Gap uses for its logo.

We NEVER did orange - thank heavens It just doesn't go with green and white

My GLOs colors are red and green and my school's colors are orange (bright orange) and black. You can imagine with orange and red some of the shirts that we got.

Our worst shirts were the ones we got for last years date party. Theyre this hosptial blue grey, and they would be kinda cute, but on the back theres this ring of girls, and in the skirts, there are other sorority names, like KKG and others we dont have... plus Tri Sigma and DZ, which we have... Prographics wouldnt replace them or take them back, so we wear them to bed. Theyre horrible!!!
