Love My Sisters of GSS, 50 years!
I'm changing the tone of that last thread, to express love to my sisters of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority.
But first let me tell you why. In 1952, two females began an organization on the campus of Drexal University. We have an APO chapter there that inspired this organization. One of the Founders of Gamma Sigma Sigma stated that it was always the intention of organization to be sisters to the brothers of Alpha Phi Omega.
And the Founder of Gamma Sigma Sigma still knows today who the president was in 1952. And if you check, that's more than some of us know today. How is it that a woman in another organization knew so much about Alpha Phi Omega. It was because they had a family back then. A 25/52 family.
Over the years, Gamma Sigma Sigma Sorority has been at our side in service. However when some of our chapters became coed, the relationship grew apart. However, now they are
coming back with a lot of pride. This year marks their 50th year in existence. And we have always had a connection with GSS. So here's to 50 years of family love.
Forever!
