Sorors Are Holdin' It Down in ATL!!!

The annual Pan-Hellenic Greek Picnic in Atlanta was held today and the BLUETIFUL Sorors of Sigma Gamma Rho came away with 2 of the 3 awards.....

International Grand Basileus Soror Owens was in attendance. She gave the group an excellent pep talk about the work we ALL do within the area of community service.

Spirit Award
Having the most members at the event

Stroll Award
Having the best stroll within the group of sororities!!

Congrats to the ATL SoRHOrs..

Hee Hee...

Thumbs up

Sorors, I enjoyed attending the picnic and was happy to see so many of us in attendance. I regretfully missed Intl. Grand Basileus Soror Owens. However, big kudos to our sorors in ATL who showed mad luv.

I had a bomb time

SoRHOrs, we held it down in ATL. No one could touch us! Soror Sprinklemeluv, I tried to find you, but I couldn't think of your first name for the life of me. If you were there for the stroll competition, I was the last soror strolling! Oh yes, Soror Helen Owens was there and pepped up spirits. I had a great time and wish all could have been in attendance

Wink

Soror, my name is Tawnya but online sometimes I use my chat handle Tawny. I got there too late to see you all stRHOll, but I heard the four of you shut them all down. I was happy to see Iota Phi Theta and their sweethearts represent as well. I saw a member of Phi Beta Sigma w/ a trophy. What did they win?

PHI BETA SIGMA, won the best frat stroll! Our Intl. Grand Basileus shut a Sigma up, when he said they are Sigmas and she was like, yes indeed you are, but my first letter is Sigma! It was too cute.....Sorors, we need to have a meet and greet before schools out, anyone down?

I'm still feeling the love........

SoRHOrs, we were so deep in ATL, it was just ridiculous!!! I'm still feeling all warm and glowy inside from seeing Soror Owens (got the photo ) and being swallowed up in a sea of BLUE and GOLD. I'm also emotional because I attended as an interest last year, and just one year later, I was there as a soRHOr - and I was one of the four repRHOsenting in the stRHOll contest. (Could you really miss me and the red afro?) I see you EntycinglyBleu. I swear she is the krunkest neo. Period. I loved meeting sprinklemeluv, too. Didn't I tell you we were deep? LOL

Thanks to all of the soRHOrs who came from TN, SC, and AL. They may have to rename it the Blue and Gold Picnic next year!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-YIP!!!

The picnic was so much fun. I was in awe and so honored to meet Soror Helen Owens. One of my chapter sorors actually left her car in the middle of the street to get her picture. We were all extremely honored, shocked, and proud that Soror Owens took time out of her trip to grace us with her presence and she's so cool.
The sorors strolling was a sight to see. They actually strolled into the sea of all the sorors. It was beautiful and sorors you all did a wonderful job.
To all GC Sorors I wish all of you could have been apart of this blutiful day. Everybody kept saying that it was our picnic and everyone else was just invited But the greek unity was also a highlight. We all supported each other and had a good time.
Just wanted to let everyone know!

I see ya jojapeach!!!!!!! You know I am the crunkest neo out there!!!! I didn't know you were on GC. Ah yes, sorors that indeed was a blue and gold picnic! It was a wonderful feeling. I am 2 months old into Sigmaland and I have been honored to have met soror Helen Owens 2 times. Well sorors, prepare for the NPHC picnic in Birmingham. I think soror Tawny said, it is in August. Lets make this another poodle production!

Talking Wow! Sorry I missed it!

What an event! Wished I could have been there!

I plan to be in Atlanta the week following Boule. (Yes, I will be spending all my money this summer) It is my second home. My parents are from Atlanta. I have much family there and I spent every single summer of my childhood there. I hope to meet some Sorors when I come to town!

Cool

I wanted to thank my bluetiful sorors for showing a neo some love at thel ATL NHPC picnic. My sorors were off the chain. We came out in droves. I did not know that we had so many members and it just warms my heart. Another highlight was as I was walking in, Soror Helen Owens, Grand Basileus was walking out and I got a chance to take a picture with her. Absolutely wonderful! The stroll was magnificent and the spirit was tremendous throughout the day. I must give a special shout out to Soror Yarnell Culler of Eta Sigma and Soror Valencia Jones who were 2 out of the 4 strollees. You all showed out!!!! Also, speical shout outs to my Augusta sorors, Keisha, Melanie, Natasha, and Monica. I must give an earth shattering EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-YIP!!! to all of the crunk sorors. We must do this again and very soon.

The Avalanche truck that was stuck in the mulch covered playground--they knew better than to drive it in there!
