How do you handle unhappy Greeks???

I have a story to tell, but I'll make it brief. I work with a member of XYZ, and he basically told me that he is not having good experiences with his organization. He made it sound like the only good times he has had were when he was going through "intake", and all of that wasn't good in his eyes. Matter of fact, he even said he no longer speaks to members of XYZ when he sees them because he's encountered too many that don't speak back.

How do you handle a situation like that, even if they are not in your organization? Is there anything that can be done or said? He knows that I'm an excited Neo, but none of that has rubbed off on him. It's just disappointing to see someone so disenchanted with the organization they've pledged their lives to.
